Watershed Distillery is excited to celebrate our 15th anniversary year with Batch 003, a super-limited release of only 100 bottles at an impressive 129.2 proof.

This high-proof Ohio Rye follows the success of Batch 001 and 002, which earned Double Platinum and Double Gold accolades.

Rye whiskey predates bourbon and has a unique history post-prohibition. Our commitment to detail and historical context fuels our passion for this distinguished spirit.

Batch 003 highlights a delicate spice profile from increased rye content, featuring notes of caramel covered pistachios, sweet vanilla, charred oak and toasted rye bread. With its complex flavor profile, this rare find is truly worth pursuing!

Tasting notes:

NOSE: Caramel covered pistachios, toasted rye bread, with hints of clove and mint.

PALATE: Sweet Vanilla, transitioning into dry nuttiness.

FINISH: Buttered Rye toast, charred oak, with a long lingering finish.

LOTTERY WINNERS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I didn’t get a winner’s email, and I checked my spam folder. I only received a winner’s text.

Some spam filters are extremely strong and filter through anything pertaining to a lottery. If you receive a text, rest assured you are a winner and WE ARE HOLDING A BOTTLE FOR YOU TO PURCHASE ($99.99) FROM 12PM-3PM ON 6.07.25. If you don’t purchase your bottle by 3pm, your bottle will be sold as an unclaimed bottle.

Can I buy online? Where is a link to purchase? Can I pay now, and pick up later?

You cannot purchase online and must come into the bottle shop. If you are unable, you may call to pay for your bottle over the phone (614-357-1936). This will allow us to hold your bottle until you can come in. PER OHIO LAW, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SHIP YOUR BOTTLE.

Can I pick up at a liquor store?

Unfortunately, this is a distillery only exclusive and is not being distributed to liquor stores. Come visit us, we’d love to say hi!

Can someone pick up for me? I live out of town; how do I get my bottle?

You can absolutely send someone to pick up for you! They'll need your name, the email address you used to enter, and their ID for pick up. That's it–we'll take care of them from there.

Is this bottle free?

If you are a winner, you have won the right to purchase this limited release bottle for $99.99+tax. Per Ohio law, it is illegal to give away liquor for free.

Does everyone win?

Unfortunately, no. This is a very limited bourbon release and we expect thousands of people to enter this lottery. We are thrilled with the response to our lotteries and grateful for everyone who supports Watershed Distillery.

Why are unclaimed lottery bottles available?

There are almost always a VERY limited number of unclaimed bottles with every lottery. Why? Often consumers are unaware that the bottles are not free or that we are not allowed to ship their bottle. If there are unclaimed bottles, we will release them for purchase on 6.07.25 at 3:01pm. We will hand out numbers to hold your place in line at 1pm on 6.07.25. Our bar will be open to purchase cocktails while you wait. No guarantee is made that there will be unclaimed bottles to purchase; there are only 100 bottles available of this very limited release.
